I am both a Qualified Nutritionist and an Accredited Practising Dietitian having completed four and a
half years of full time study. This includes a three year Bachelor of Food Science & Nutrition at RMIT
University and an eighteen month Master of Dietetics degree at Deakin University.
I have a passion for initiating difference in people’s lives through food, nutrition and healthy living. I
don’t believe in restrictive diets but instead believe “everything in moderation”. I aim to provide
personalized and practical advice, in order to enable sustainable and long term healthy eating habits.
I have an interest in the areas of weight management (weight gain and weight loss), pregnancy
nutrition, nutrition for the elderly and in the prevention of life-style related diseases such as; type 2
diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, osteoporosis and cancers.
I have had the opportunity to work at the Australian Institute of Sport in Canberra and with St.kilda
football club. From these experiences, I have developed a strong interest in the field of Sports Nutrition.
I find the effect of food on enhancing sporting performance extremely fascinating.
